Ha-What?

Driving home from work is slightly intimidating when you are being chased by a gigantic cloud of dust moving faster than you can legally drive. Luckily I made it home with enough time to grab my camera and run to the desert behind the house.

Check out this crazy, Arizona Haboob.

Los Angeles IV

Sunday morning we went for Dim Sum in Chinatown. If you have never had a Dim Sum experience, you absolutely must! What a wonderful culinary and cultural experience. However, next time we go, we need to do it like the regulars did... somehow they managed to order large portions of some of the best dishes. I did not take photos, I just wanted to take in the environment.

Afterward we headed to the shops and came across some guys who were breakdancing to the most awesome, "Mistadobalina" by Del The Funky Homosapien.

Oh yeah, Adam & Tia Essie rode a merry-go-round. Why? The story: When I was 6 or 7, Tia Essie was visiting us and we were leaving a grocery store by our house. The child-sized merry-go-round was broken and spinning without any passengers aboard. Never wanting to pass up a fun opportunity, Tia Essie hopped on and told us to take advantage of a free ride. Even at that age I was too concerned with my appearance to enjoy a silly experience with my family, so I took off across the parking lot to hide behind the car so no one would associate me with the woman riding the tiny carousel. I'm sorry Tia Essie! It pleases me to know you still like to goof off and got on for old-time's sake.
